What if I don't know exactly what's wrong, I just know something feels off?
That's a completely normal place to start. You don't need a diagnosis, a clear explanation, or the right words before reaching out. Naming what's going on, however imprecisely, is part of the work we do together, not a requirement to get in the door.

What if I'm not sure this is the right fit?
It might not be, and that's ok! That's what the consultation will help us figure out. I know I'm not going to be the best fit for everyone, no therapist is. That's normal. The most important thing is that you work with a therapist you click with. If that's not me, I'll help you find someone more aligned for you.
Is the initial consultation free?
Yes. The consultation is a free, no-obligation conversation to see if working together feels like a good fit, before any commitment or paperwork.

What happens in the first session?
Before your first session, you'll complete some paperwork through a secure client portal. The first session itself is mostly about getting to know each other: what's bringing you to therapy, what you're hoping for, and what I can do to help. See Getting Started →
What is Brainspotting?
Brainspotting is a therapy approach that uses your visual field to locate and process places where emotional or physical experience gets "stuck." It's a quieter, more felt process than traditional talk therapy, and it doesn't require you to have the right words for what you're working through. Read more on the Services page →
What is IFS (Internal Family Systems)?
IFS is an approach built around understanding the different "parts" of you, like an inner critic or a people-pleaser, and working with them rather than against them. It's especially useful if you've already done a lot of thinking about your patterns and are ready for something that creates change on a deeper level. Read more on the Services page →
Do you accept insurance?
No. This is a cash-pay practice. Sessions are $150 for 55 minutes, paid directly. See Rates & Policies →

Do you work with couples, families, or groups?
No. I offer individual therapy only.
How does telehealth work?
You'll meet with me over secure video from wherever you're located, as long as you're physically in Florida or Delaware at the time of the session. You'll need a private space, a stable internet connection, and a phone, tablet, or computer with a camera and microphone.
Can you see me if I'm not in Florida or Delaware?
Not currently. I can only work with you if you're physically located in Florida or Delaware at the time of each session, due to licensing requirements.
