Session fee: $150 per 55-minute individual therapy session.
Payment: You pay directly, by credit or debit card or HSA/FSA card. I don't accept insurance.
Working outside of insurance means your care isn't dependent on a diagnosis being “medically necessary” by an insurer's standards, your records aren't shared with a third party to justify continued care, and the two of us decide what's useful for your treatment, not a claims department. It also means sessions stay flexible and private. If you'd like to seek reimbursement from your insurance on your own, I'm happy to provide a superbill upon request.
I ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, or miss a session without notice, I'll bill a $40 cancellation fee. I understand emergencies happen. If something comes up, reach out as soon as you can.
Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges for therapy services before you begin care, if you're not using insurance. I'll provide this to you individually once you've scheduled, outlining the expected cost of services based on the type and frequency of care we discuss.
